Libya revitalizes its Intellectual Property Protection policies

There was a recent order from the Minister of Commerce to cancel all trademarks registered or filed from 1981 upto 2003. Further to this, the government is opening up to the international markets after a long era of isolation from the international community. Analyists predit growth in market revenews. International firms are on their way to make their share in the Libya's growth. The government of libya is also increasing its efforts to reform the country. It has recently restructured the Intellectual Property Office, this clearly means that the foreign business will be protected. Higly qualified and professional staff has been recruited to process the Intellecual Property applications. The new staff is much efficient and cooperative. The recent political and trade traffic between Libya and the Far East shows light at the end of the tunnel.
